How do you charge for your services?
We charge on a percentage basis of total revenue collected. This gives us an incentive to obtain teh maximum revenue due and do so in a timely manner.
What services are included with this fee?
Our fee includes a dedicated staff to assist you and your staff with any questions you may have, your practice, patients and database are setup to begin billing, your practice is setup with our clearinghouse for electronic claims submission and all medical billing is performed for you.
Is Shore Physician Solutions HIPAA Compliant?
Yes! Shore Physician Solutions upholds the highest standards and complies with all HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
Is mental health billing different from general medical billing?
The mental health insurance industry is highly saturated by managed care. This means that many times verification of benefits and certification for services is complicated by determining which entity has been subcontracted for which service. Psychiatric diagnoses differ from general medical diagnostic classification and coding. A general medical billing company may not be familiar with DSM classification. Especially as it pertains to psychological and neuropsychological testing, often times general medical billing companies do not understand the unique demands of billing for these services.
Does Shore Physician Solutions provide credentialing for physicians?
Yes! Shore Physician Solutions can handle the process of obtaining your credentials with all major insurance companies. We follow the process from start to finish so your paperwork does not get left on a desk or lost in a paper shuffle.
Who does a patient call with billing questions?
All patients would call our number (732-678-5884) with any questions that they have regarding their claims or statements. Questions are answered courteously abd every effort is made to expedite a settlement. Patient customer support is never compromised.
Is there any software or hardware to buy?
No! We do not require you to buy expensive software or hardware to handle your medical billing or practice management needs.
When are claims submitted for payment?
Claims are submitted 24 hours a day, 5 days a week. All claims received from your office will be entered and submitted for payment within 48 hours. The only exception to this rule is on holidays and weekends.
Is my data protected from deletion?
Yes! Your data is backed up nightly.
